Revitalization of meadows

Meadow Revitalization – in times of global climate change and biodiversity loss, preserving natural flower meadows is becoming increasingly important. These meadows are not only a treasure trove of plant diversity but also home to many insects, birds, and other animals. Our project aims to ensure that these biodiversity oases do not disappear.

Steps in Our Flower Meadow Conservation Process

Meadow Assessment

A biologist assesses the meadow in question. Their task is to document the meadow’s current state, take soil and plant samples, and study the present animal species. Each meadow tells its own story, and this initial assessment helps us design the best plan for its conservation or restoration.

Annual Mowing – With Care for Nature

To preserve plant and animal diversity, we mow the meadow only once a year and only in the fall. This practice ensures that many plant species complete their life cycle and produce seeds while insects and other animals have time to reproduce.

Transparency Through Communication Channels

We believe in transparency in our work. Therefore, we publish every step in the meadow restoration or conservation process through our communication channels. Our community can follow the meadow’s transformation, learn about its inhabitants, and be part of this wonderful ecological journey.

Through these carefully designed steps, we preserve existing flower meadows and create conditions for the return of many plant and animal species to the areas where they once thrived. Our vision is a world where natural flower meadows once again become a common sight, and their colorful inhabitants have a safe and rich habitat.
