More Than Just a Meadow…
In a world that is becoming increasingly urbanized, green spaces within cities are becoming rare. However, they are not just aesthetically pleasing—they are the lungs of our cities, havens of biodiversity, and vital spots for the mental and physical health of citizens.
Our Mission
To recognize urban meadows threatened by urbanization, especially those at risk of becoming yet another concrete parking lot.
Our Approach
Cleaning and Regeneration
Our approach is non-invasive. We start by cleaning the area of waste and invasive species. The land is then left to naturally regenerate, allowing the soil to breathe and indigenous flora to thrive.
Supporting Natural Growth
If we notice a tree starting to sprout, we provide it with all the necessary conditions to grow, giving it a chance to become future shade and shelter in the heart of the city.
Shared Use
The intention is to allocate these green spaces to beekeepers, encouraging bee conservation and the production of urban honey. Schools can use these areas as outdoor educational spaces, and all citizens, including their pets, can freely enjoy them.
A Place for Everyone
This is a space where citizens can come and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoying the natural environment, listening to the birds, watching the bees, and feeling the grass beneath their feet.
Through this approach, we not only conserve green spaces but also return them to the community, making cities healthier, more beautiful, and more sustainable for all of us.
